Lacoste

Lacoste a brand that everyone knows and loves first founded in 1933 all those years ago in France Lacoste at that time mainly designed and worn by tennis players which was comfortable and breathable when playing tennis, Lacoste also went on to design golf and sailing clothing all sporting the familiar croc logo. Lacoste became a craze anyone who wanted to be seen as wealthy or in the latest fashion would wear Lacoste, the 80s saw a phenomenon where lads known as “Casuals” would wear Lacoste a status symbol, these casuals would dress up in the latest designer gear and go and support their football team and either before or after the match have a tear up with the opposing team, hooliganism and designer clothing went hand in hand and opposite firm members would be able to differentiate the firms from the fans by the clothing they worn. Lacoste, Sergio Tacchini and Fila played a huge part of this terrace culture and lads would ensure they were kitted out in the latest gear for the match.  It is still very much same today lads going out to buy the latest Lacoste polo to wear out. Lacoste offer a great range of casual clothing from Designer polos in colours, fits and sizes, caps, casual shirts, jackets, trainers, shoes and accessories. There is nothing you cannot buy from Lacoste they also have glasses, sun glasses, perfume, watches and socks. This is a brand that is not only for men but you can buy absolutely any garment for women and children, if you like a casual sporty brand Lacoste is definitely the brand to buy. Polos are the most popular purchase and like other brands Lacoste have their own selection of fits from Original, fitted, ultra slim, stretch and sport. Being such a established designer brand Lacoste prices are reasonable you are looking around £65 for an original men’s polo around the same price for a ladies polo and for kids you are looking at spending £35 for a polo. Which to be honest these prices are the norm for designer brands such as Ralph Lauren and Lacoste, however have a search online as you may be able to source these a little cheaper but beware of the fakes floating around, if the price seems to good to be true it generally is dont get caught out. Lacoste is a great summer feel good brand and I would urge everyone to get themselves a Lacoste garment this summer.
